There has been a great deal of interest in the rumored Huawei based myTouch from T-Mobile with photos of the handset having been leaked online. Tmonews recently showed off another photo of the handset in a single shot.
T-Mobile myTouch handset pictures leaked
The photo of the handset actually made the phone look pretty large, but then it could have been the angle at which the shot had been taken. The specifications of the handset however are not going to be anywhere close to the Samsung Galaxy S3 or for that matter any other high-spec phone, but it will still be a sharp looking handset in the mid-price range of devices.
Huawei have a very long way to go if they want to be known in the US as being among strong contenders in the smartphone market. This can only occur if they release higher end devices than the myTouch. For now they have been focusing on mid-range handsets and T-Mobile is using them to fill in their lower end range for those not wanting or needing a handset costing hundreds of dollars.

The T-Mobile myTouch may very well impress those in the market for an attractive smartphone that will not break the bank and which comes with enough features to put it firmly in the smartphone category, while at the same time not being overwhelming. The T-Mobile myTouch should be available during the second quarter of 2012 for an “affordable” price.
