The first of the pre-orders of the Nexus 7 from Google have begun to ship. This news came from the support line of Google, which is automated, saying that the first wave of the tablets started shipping from today. It is expected that all of the pre-orders will have shipped within three business days, reports DroidLife.

The magnetic sensor on the Nexus 7 could have been kept a secret from users on purpose.
